So, yes the actual link is different - not least because it contains the version number - but the route to get there is the same as it was before. In fact if you use a "logical guess" to change the "2.0.4" in the old link to "2.1.0" you do indeed arrive at the new page.

If I were downloading 2.1, I'd probably start at the p2p page or a mirror. A to B to C is for newbies, it gets too crowded and it only suits a certain type of downloader.
