Correction: Just realised that I don't have a distro specific edition of
OOo 2.1 installed, since it hasn't been released yet.

Thank you to Terry and Dave, i'm managed to get it working now. I'd totally
forgotten to look in opt/. Lets hope thats my only 'blonde moment' of the
day :)
