I'm afaraid you will have to be a lot more specific. What drop down 
lists? What exactly were you doing when these drop down lists appeared? 
What sort of data were you trying to enter? What happened when you tried 
to enter the data?

Please confirm also that you are downloading/using OpenOffice.org 
version 2.1 using Internet Explorer 7. What version of Windows?
