thanks for your hints! 
After simply including 'mutt' (+ some slight modification in the command
line) I'm at least getting error from Mailer-Daemon:

Maybe I didn't get at all what 'sending a document as an e-mail' means.
This being The 'Document' I was experimenting with :

In case this document gets to destination it will be the fist one sent
from within OOo to  <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
just to see if it works! :-)

I don't understand either where the above underlined indications where
taken from. Perhaps this is what the 'script' is supposed to be doing
(i.e. going through the document and see if there is an e-mail address)?

Anyway, thanks for your indications up to now.
