Benedikt:

I would apologize, but the German QA team has disapproved the release of
OpenOffice.org for the Mac. This is their decision and they made it because of
problems they encountered with the language integration. This would frustrate
you as a native German speaker. As the Mac OS X QA testing coordinator, I
agree with their decision to withhold this release until the problem is
corrected. Please feel free to download the American English version, if you
wish the additional functionality with this release. The latest approved
version was OpenOffice.org 2.0.4 for the Mac Intel platform. Shaun McDonald
supports the Mac porting portion of the OpenOffice.org web site and will
examine why you could not download the most recent version of OpenOffice.org in
German for the Mac Intel platform.
