I think about changing from Excel to Open Office Calc, but there is one
essential thing about that.
Is it possible to VBA like in Excel i.e. is there a VBA Editor
integrated?

Novell are currently working on VBA support for OpenOffice.org (starting
with Calc). I understand that it works with many (but not all) Excel
macros already.
