Dear Hopefulspirit, Remember that downloading and installation are two distinct processes ; from what you write it would seem that it is the second of these with which you are having problems. If you can be more explicit about exactly what happens and what the error message you receive says, perhaps we can help you here. I suggest you start by telling us just which version of OpenOffice.org you have been attempting to download and install....
