I just purchased my MacBook Pro last Thursday and I am switching from
Windows. I have loaded X11 and it starts fine and returns the
correct version for Tiger.
I then downloaded the OOo_2.1.0_MacOSXIntel_Install_en-US.dmg with no
problem. I double clicked the Icon and the installation window opens
and I drag and drop the icon on the Applications folder. I was
expecting a folder as shown in the online documentation but I get a
file. When I click on the file and open it, the X11 window
opens and then the Writer Window opens. Try as I may I can't find a
way to switch to or start Calc or any of the other applications nor
have I found any documents explaining this.
Any suggestions?
