You will need to Download OpenOffice.org from
http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/download/x11.html
All instructions are there.

Not all languages are tested, but are available from
ftp://ooopackages.good-day.net/pub/OpenOffice.org/MacOSX/
if the localisation is available for other platforms.

Mac OS X 10.2 is no longer supported, but the download of OpenOffice.org for that version of Mac OS X is still available. Mac OS X 10.3 is supported up to and including OpenOffice.org 2.1. Any new release of OpenOffice.org, will not be supported by the Mac Port Team. This means that we do not guarantee that new versions of OpenOffice.org will run on Mac OS X 10.3. Mac OS X 10.4 is currently supported. New versions of OpenOffice.org are tested on this platform. (Latest version tested is OpenOffice.org 2.1).

You can use it on an Apple Mac, but you need Apple OS 10. Besides that you must install X11 to run the application. X11 is found on the OS-disk.
