Firstly, I would recommend that you skip version 2.0.3 and install the
current released version 2.1.0 However, if you wish to continue with
installing 2.0.3 and want us to assist, you will need to give some more
information about your  issue.

Did you uninstall 2.0.0 before you installed 2.0.3?

At what point during installation process does it hang?

Is there any error message and if so, what does it say?

How are you establishing (getting the information) that "openoffice.org
shows not to be registered within system\software"?
