This sometimes happens with some virusscanners and/or firewalls. The solution 
is to install OpenOffice without your virusscanner and firewall running. 
Remember to disconnect from the internet before you stop the firewall. After 
installing OpenOffice restart the computer before connecting to the internet 
again.
