I use the standard OOo version distributed with FC6 AMD64. The latest

I created a simple example form (to answer a user's question).
I added a few controls to the form.
Usually, I right click on a control and select control to open the
properties dialog.
I also thought that I could double click on a control to open the
control properties dialog.
I can not open the control properties dialog in this version.
I loaded the simple form to

Can anyone verify this bug on FC6 AMD64 using the standard distribution?
My guess is that this is the second FC6 AMD64 distribution specific
bug that I have found. Well, the last bug was related to 64 bit
distribution rather than FC6.
My primary concern is that I should not create an issue with the OOo
standard bugs for a distribution created by the Fedora team.
Andrew:
I just looked at your document using OOo2.1/Win2K SP3. What I found
is that the Form Design or Form Controls toolbar Design Mode On/Off
selection *must* be set to ON in order to view the properties list for
the control. (Actually, the Form *Controls* Design Mode switch turns
on both if Form Design isn't already enabled.) Do you see this same
behavior in FC6?
I have just opened and had confirmed Issue 72676 which relates to
another Form Controls problem. I wonder if what you discovered is an
intentional change or sneaked by QA because the need to be in some
flavor of design mode to view Form Control properties does not seem
too far fetched.
Happy New Year,
DougT
It appears as though I can toggle the two states individually. I am not
able to view the properties dialog for a control using any method that I
used to use (prior to upgrading the FC6 AMD64 and using the FC6
distribution version). Come to think of it, I was also not able to open
the Form dialog that shows me the form hierarchy.
It sounds like you are still able to view the properties using a windows
version. I assume, therefore, that this issue is specific to FC6 AMD64
distribution. I will go out on a limb and guess that the problem only
exists in the 64 bit version.
