We really need much more detailed information about your
database. A database consists of one or more of the following:
tables, queries, forms and reports. Each one of these can contain
columns, so I have no idea what you mean by sorting by a column.
(Although you are likely referring to the second field rather than
the second column.)
Do you have a single table? (It appears so, but do you?) Did you
use the wizard to create the table? If so, what choices did you make
to create the table?
If you did not use the wizard, answer the following questions:
What Fields does this table contain? What is the Field type for each
Field in the table? Have you created a Form to insert the information
into the fields of this table? Is it the table or form that you want
to sort?
