Using Impress, I find that ordinary words are sometimes shown with a wiggly
underline as if they have spelling errors. This can be cured by making a
change to the word (for example, deleting the space between that word and
the next one) and then changing it back again, so that the spellchecker is
forced to check the word again. If I right-click on the word, sometimes
it gives the spellcheck menu and offers to add the word to a dictionary, but
other times it gives the normal right-click context menu even though the
word is shown as having a spelling error.

This is a nuisance as I have to look at the word carefully to check that it
is right. This happens with very ordinary words, for example it has just
happened to me with the word "performance".

I have not used other OOo applications a lot so I can't say if it happens in
Write but I assume the spellcheck is common to all.
