Please advise. > Karyn Romeis <snip> It is likely that this is caused your Antivirus (AV) software believing the file is corrupt. Happens sometimes, not just with OpenOffice (OO). Please try the following: 1. Disconnect your computer from the internet. 2. Disable your AV and firewall programs 3. Run the .exe file to install OO - say "register later" because registration requires an internet connection. 4. Re-enable your AV and firewall 5. Reconnect to the internet. 6. Register OO when it asks you (next time you run it probably). Never leave your computer connected to the internet unless your AV and firewall programs are running properly.
