2007/1/8, Vincent A Juliano <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

Hi,
)) @
I AS mentioned before I down loaded 00.2.1 but OS X 11 was already
installed for 002.0.

Should I reinstall X 11 ? Is it necessary to reinstall X11 with each
upgrade of 002 ?
As soon as I get an answer to this I try to figure out my next step.

Or perhaps you can offer assistance. I very happy with 002 and I
don't want to lose it.

Vincent,

you don't need another version of X11 when you upgrade OOo

BTW it isn't OS X 11, you're mixing 2 things: your Apple operating system is
probably OSX 10.4.x (Tiger) -or maybe 10.3.x (Panther). X11 is a windowing
system that allows OpenOffice.org to work on a Mac (the OOo developers are
working on a native -Aqua- version of OOo that will make the use of X11
obsolete).

There are different versions of X11 for Panther and Tiger, but as long as
you don't upgrade you Mac Operating System, the same version of X11 will do.
On Tiger (OSX 10.4.x) you might profit from updating X11 from version 1.1 to
1.1.3 (see Apple-site of XFree86 site)
