I suggest that you avoid accentuated characters in file names. We have
the same problem in French. Some persons use accentuated characters in
file names, but I think it is not always secure to do so (even with MS
Office).

I was happy to download the hungarian version of openoffice.org 2.1.
But a bug has shown up:
Calc file's name: tűzfalak.ods
but what I doublecklicked on it it says that there is no tuzfalak.ods.
But when I started the Calc and in it I attempted to open the
tűzfalak.ods I

So the bug is: that the program can not handle externally the accentuated
letters in filenames.
This is really annoying when I would like to recommended the OOo
inspite of
MS Office.
