The only times when I encounter such problem is when the file is on a network device and that gets temporarily disconnected and later on reconnected. (Maybe a save or auto-save while it is disconnected is required as well) In such cases the file handle becomes invalid and saving fails. Just as a little help: Usually saving to a different file name still works though. I already submitted an issue for that specific problem some time ago, but I don't remember the issue number right now.
