In the words you hate to hear: "I cannot reproduce your problem".
I have tried this in OO 2.1 and in 2.0.4, both on XP and the spell
checker works as expected. My only idea at the moment: if you select a
Heading 2, right click in it and choose Character, what language shows
up in the Font tab? If it's not the language you expected, there's
your problem. If it is what you expected then, sorry, I've failed again.

I don't know what it was but I highlighted the text and set it to
default formatting, it works now.
