Depending on what exactly you are looking for, why not use webmail and webcalendar (planner or whatever you call it) such asGmail and the included Google calendar? It has its advantages and disadvantages of course, but all you need is a web browser. Firefox works fine at that site, and also Opera now, even though they don't say so.
