But this is the issue that OpenOffice should be pushing on the
promotion of ODF. I understand this so well after this last
weekend. Going through some old disks that we don't have the
software for anymore and not being able to open the files. Now I
have spreadsheets that are written in Qpro for DOS and Windows. I
have some other files with a *.tc extension but I cannot find any
details on them. But I have some WordPerfect files that OpenOffice
opens with no problems. There are some Lotus 1-2-3 files as well.
The only tc files I know of are tellico files.
That isn't it. It looks like some type of plotting file or something
similar. If I run strings {file.tc} I get a formula and some text
that looks like the legends and titles. They are small.

Googling ".tc files" brings up this page:
http://filext.com/detaillist.php?extdetail=TC. Interestingly (?) one of
the file types belongs to OpenOffice. Hope this helps.

Been there and checked that. Nothing covers this file format. I have a
few floppies with some other programs on it that I don't know so I will
have to check. These are my wifes files and she cannot remember what
program she used. They were from 13 to 15 years ago.
