Identical NZ setup. Am on linux at home at present but am assuming you
mean in the "regional setting section" or whatever-its-called of the
control panel.

Pretty much running unpatched standalone, installs from the same 98SE
media disk. DLL's could have been updated differently by different
installation programs.

Am unsure what you mean by cell attributes. But this behaviour occurs on
vanilla new sheets. How do i read off the cell attributes you are
talking about.
