Washington state, which is where Microsoft is headquartered has some pretty good anti-SLAPP laws.

IOW, if Microsoft were to file suit against Wikipedia, Microsoft would be subject to a counter suit in Washington state claiming the initial suit was a SLAPP. Even if Microsoft won the first case, they would lose the second. Net result. Lawyers get paid and nobody else gains any financial compensation.

BTW, it is not uncommon for companies to hire a third party to "correct" facts about them on websites.
