By "PC Operating Systems" I assume you mean Windows. Don't forget that nearly all versions of Linux run on PCs. Depends on what software you have on the PC and on how you save/send the OO documents: 1. OO runs on almost all versions of Windows. See the Systems Requirements section of the OO web site. 2. OO on any system (including non-Windows ones) can either save in Microsoft format or send directly in MS format as an e-mail attachment without saving the document. So you can save in OO format and send in MS format without creating a second copy. 3. OO can either save or send directly as e-mail attachment in PDF format which most Windows systems will be able to read but not edit 4. Very complex OO documents might not look right when saved in MS format. MS Office cannot handle StarBasic which is what most OO macros get written in. -- Harold Fuchs London, England
