Hello, Take a look at the Mac pages of OpenOffice.org http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/ Do your MacBook and your Mini both have the same version of Mac OS X? There is a diffrent version of X11 for Panther (10.3.x) and Tiger (10.4.x) The Tiger version sits on your Mac OS X installation disk (DVD or CD) and is called X11User.pkg Are your Macs PPC or Intel? There is a different version of OOo for PPC and for Intel. Finally, there is a Chinese OOo project, see http://zh.openoffice.org/index.html and it mentions Mac! I already did a reinstall but nothing changed. The icon bounces but nothing ever happens.
