System: Win XP SP2. When I use plus signs in a formula in Impress, and save as ppt, the plus signs come out as boxes, as if the font is not present. This happens even in the same computer so it is not an obvious font problem. Not sure if it happens all the time but it seems to be repeatable at the moment. But a formula created in MS Equation Editor and inserted into an Impress document as an embedded object, works OK.
