Hi Tammy,

Installing 2.1 shouldn't affect whether or not the Outlook Express 6 spell 
checker works or not. (Or at least it hasn't done that for me.)

Generally for the spell checker to work you need to have an Microsoft 
application such as MS Word installed.

Those not having MS applications installed can use the spell check application 
available from www.JustLocal.com.au. Scroll to the bottom of the page and 
click on the Outlook Express logo.

For those who wish to spell check using Australian English (may also suit UK 
and Canada), a patch also needs to be applied. The patch is available from the 
same page.
