I may have seemed annoyed (well, I am, but not at you!), so put the
matter out of your mind.

Right now someone from a local Linux group told me:

ldd `which <binary>` will give you a list of all shared modules that any
given binary depends on

So now I want to find out what are the binaries in OOo. I did a search
on "openoffice" and found hundreds and hundreds of files and folders.
My current theory is that drag and drop is not working for me because I
have a missing, messed up, or incorrect library or module. If I can get
a list of all the binaries that OOo uses I can test them one at a time
with the command line. Then I can reinstall everything that each binary
needs. I'll bet that the upgrade from Dapper amd64 to Edgy amd64 failed
to update some library or module that only OOo needs.

Anyone know how to find out the filenames for all the binaries that OOo
2.04 uses?
