There is a Vector tool to convert rpms for OpenOffice. Have a look at this post: http://www.vectorlinux.com/forum2/index.php?topic=1678.msg9958#msg9958 The next post in the thread mentions an unrpm tool devised by a member of oooforum. As is mentioned in that thread, there is a vectorised OpenOffice 2.1 but you may have to update your OS to get access to the repository - I don't know how that works in Vector. (I've installed 5.8 but prefer to continue with my other OS.) BTW, wouldn't the Vector forum be the best place to ask about this?
