restarting the computer and all is well now! But I will get the newer
version.

OOo 1.9.125 was a pre Beta for OOo 2.0.0. Most current version is
2.1.0. OOo 1.9.125 was designed for testing purposes only. You need
to get the newer version that is available. If you are using Windows,
you will need to remove OOo 1.9.125 before installing 2.1.0.
