You can delete a keybinding using Tools >Customise : Keyboard.

The Alt key is generally unavailable for keybindings.  Alt on its own may be
reserved for menu access but why Alt+Ctrl | Shift | Function-key are
unavailable is anyone's guess.  The Tab key is also unavailable.  Weird.
