I find it more convenient to use a mirror so that I can provide a direct
link to the download manager.  There is a list of mirrors here:
http://distribution.openoffice.org/mirrors/index.html#mirrors

To check that your download is in fact corrupted and the problem is not with
the M$ installer, use the md5sum procedure:
