I am currently attending BYU Idaho and am in a business class. For a business project I have to start my own business. My business idea was to make 1000 copies of Openoffice.org and sell them on campus. I wont be selling the software. I will only charge for the cd and the labor. Is this legal. Please let me know.
The license agreement is published on the web site -- why don't you take a look at it, and make it part of your project to assess whether _you_ feel that it's legal? In a real business situation you often have to give these things a preliminary vetting (my accountant calls it "the smell test") before you spend a bunch of $$ to have a lawyer take a look at it. If it's obviously OK or obviously not then you save yourself a trip to the guy who charges you by the minute to tell you things.
