Thanks for replying but that's no good. On my system at least.
When I select a range in column A, SHIFT+SPACE extends the selection
beyond the used area to the last column in the Sheet. The occupied
cells are A1:E26; I select A1:A26 and SHIFT+SPACE extends the selection
to IV26. No use at all.
I'm not the one with the SHIFT+ problem but I doubt that your suggestion
will work any better on the user's computers. Incidentally, it isn't
just SHIFT+DOWN, evidently; SHIFT+UP | RIGHT | LEFT do not work either.
Perhaps there is no help for this problem. Which means filing an issue,
I suppose.
