Or perhaps we are forgetting how OOo saves files. Perhaps it involves how the links are written to the XML file containing them before the set of files are zipped. When changing the content, those changes are written to the content.xml. But what is necessary to make changes to the XML file containing the links?
Yes, which is one of the many things that the user never ever should need to worry about… =) I guess we are not there yet, but some day we will, won't we? ;o)
