Hi Arleen and all,

You can paste any data from Mac OS X native (carbon/cocoa)
applications into X11 applications with a shortcut "cmd+option+V".
(This shortcut forces applications to use the Mac OS X clipboard
instead of the X11 clipboard)

I'd tried to copy a URL on Safari with "cmd+C" and paste it into
OpenOffice. 2.0.4 (running on X11.app 1.1.3 and Mac OS X 10.4.8) using
"cmd+option+V," and I could succeed the paste operation.

Please try it! :-)

I hope somebody who uses Mac OS will answer you. With Windows, I just
tried Copy/Paste of a part of a Firefox page, and it worked normally
(Italics were still Italics, Bold remained Bold etc.). I tried also an
e-mail (received with Thunderbird) with a lot of enrichment, and the
HTML document was converted normally. I had just to make the characters
black (they were white, end the blue background resulted white too...)
