Highlight one of the words in a document.
Format > Character > Font (tab) What language is listed to the right
of your font name and size? If it is not English(Australian), that is
part your problem. If it does not have an icon in front of it with
and abc and tick, that is likely the rest of your problem.
There is an Australian dictionary that can be downloaded and
installed. File > Wizards > Install new dictionaries. This wizard
will download the Australian dictionary and install it as long as you
are connected to the Internet.
