Hi all, I am having problems saving Text Documents in OO.o
I am using it on a Powerbook (PPC) running Mac 10.4.8 with Apple's X11 window manager. The problem occurs when I re-open an existing OO Text Document after having shut down my machine. (I have therefor been able to save the document numerous times previously before encountering the problem.) Trying to save the document freezes up OO and takes over the CPU 100%. Force quiting the droplet (in Force Quit Applications) does not remove the OO window - soffice.bin is still present in the Activity monitor. The only way to close down OO is by quiting X11.
I have tried increasing the memory in Tools>Options>OpenOffice.org>Memory and reinstalling OO without Apple's fonts - neither of which have solved the problem.
I have used OO.o for 3 years on this machine without a problem! This seems to be something introduced with 2.1? I am not sure if this is the correct forum for such an issue - please redirect me if there is a more appropriate one or if the matter has been discussed elsewhere.
