The last email in this chain was a little garbled but I think it was
advocating downloading normal OOo (from www.openoffice.org), copying to
flashdrive, then installing on the flashdrive.

I believe that doing this will still create entries in the "C" drive
registry, "C" drive "documents and settings" and other places.

The 'portable apps' version of OOo has been modified so that this does not
occur.
