Interesting idea. I don't think that this will be possible using
styles. I would suggest that either a macro to run over formats as you
describe and bold the elements necessary would be one way of achieve
this.

The other idea is the use of auto text. Create a new auto text so it
looks like you want it to. Then all you need to do is enter the short
code, then select f3
