Hi All, To conclude on this thread, the document was a .doc. OOo (2.1) could not open it neither on my system : loading of the doc was fine according to the progress bar but when it came to display it, OOo crashed. But MS Word could open it without any problem. First, I opened it with MS Word, saved without modifying anything but it kept crashing OOo. It seems the beginning of the document was the issue : it begins (first character) with a manual section break (continuous) in MS Word. I just added some empty paragraphs, saved and OOo can open it afterwards. This is the problem with closed format (.doc). Import/export filter may bug after so many operations. General advise is to use .odt. If someone has to modify the file, then export a copy in .doc. Else, export in PDF. Eeva will use .odt from now.
