Dan There are 4 columns. The problem occurs about half way down the first page It may be a page break, because all four columns below move to the top of the next page. All of the entries are fine from there to the end of the document. Thank you for the advice. I pulled the file up on my computer, and it did not have this problem which came up on my friend's computer. I looked at the non printing characters feature and the point at which the problem occurred looks no different from the other parts of the document. In Open Office, the complete document is four pages instead of three pages as in the original document. I will have to try it again on His computer to see if it continues to occur. Dealing with this kind of problem in WordPerfect is so much simpler. Bob On Wednesday February 14 2007 6:04 pm, [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > I am using Open Office 2.1. No there is not a reveal codes feature as in WordPerfect. You seemed to have left out some information. How many columns do you have? Do you have the same problem in each column or only in the last column. One thing you might want to look at are the nonprinting characters. This may tell you something. It is also possible that a page break accidentally was placed at break. Dan
