Has anybody out there in cyberspace been able to get color in fontwork? Yes! I have set color in Fontwork thousands of times. You appear to be trying to change the color of the Fontwork text, rather than the color of the Fontwork *Object*. Fontwork is text expressed as a vector graphic object NOT normal text. Try this: *DO NOT* double click on the Fontwork object to set the "Area" properties. Left click once anywhere outside of the Fontwork object and then right clicking ONCE on th Fontwork object. Select the "Area" properties from the context menu. When you have set the color and whatever other properties you want to change, click the OK button and there is your Fontwork in color. If this does not work for you, then is a serious problem with your OOo installation and/or setup. Hope this helps.
