Then can you use the Heading 2 style for the Sections? Then do
what Adrian suggested for chapters. The only think different is found
in the bottom right corner. You want to change the Layer from 1 to 2.
This will list the first Heading 1 on the page. If there is no
Heading 1 found, it will list the first Heading 2.
Thanks, Dan, I just discovered that one myself. I didn't know that
functionality existed before.
Or, alternatively, use Heading 1 for sections, and something else for
chapters (assuming you don't need chapter names in the headers or footers).
