If you use File > New to open a list of OpenOffice.org
components, you should see HTML Document. The component name is
Writer/Web. Be advised that it will do the basics as far as editing
HTML. However, the HTML produced by Writer/Web is not standard HTML
in the strict sense of the word.
I use Writer/Web for the HTML I create, because my web pages are
rather simple. For more advanced users of HTML, there are other free
programs which will be better. Nvu (www.nvu.com) is one. Composer in
the Seamonkey suite by Mozilla is another (www.mozilla.org).
