I can't help wondering if what Mr Lee is looking for is not an
English-language OO.o (which he already seems to have) combined with an
input method which allows him to write in Chinese glyphs directly from his
keyboard. He doesn't inform us what operative system he uses, but in the
event he uses a Windows version, he can download Windows IME:s from
Microsoft. In the event - which I deem less likely - that he is using a
Linux distro, he can check out the SCIM download at sourceforge.net :

See under <http://zh.openoffice.org/index.html> if you find what you
need. I didn't find any Chinese dictionary in OpenOffice.
