VB isn't supported within OOo. The language used within OOo is either OOo Basic, java script, python or beanshell.
You can use the OOo API layer using VB (if that's what your trying to do, have a look here : http://www.kalitech.fr/clients/doc/VB_APIOOo_en.html#ooo_api_and_visual_basic_specificities) Basic is, apparently, not to different than VB. An excellent guide can be found here (http://www.pitonyak.org/oo.php).
