I suppose your paragraph style has been set to 'Basque' for language ('Font'
tab).
Do you confirm that the language looses its blue check mark in the drop-down
list ?
It's not clear if the check mark disappears or if the language itself is set
to something else (then, you don't see both the check mark and the language
name).
