Please look at the version of Java that OpenOffice.org detects on your system:

This is done through tools->options.  This should open a second dialog box
select the top most option and then Java.  Wait and the Java version
should fill in.  If not, you will have to find it on your file system.  I don't 
know
if Java is available for Edgy 64bit or not.
