Hi,
I'm French and will try to be clear. I'm using openoffice and glad about it.
I have one problem. I use a genealogy data base software (Nimegue 2). I can
export data to a xxx.txt file and then with Excel I can have a real data base
file under excel.
The procedure is:
- 1 open Excel, "all types of files"
- 2 click on "xxxx.txt"
- 3 click in "délimité" (sorry in French) then "follow"
- 4 click on separator "point virgule (;) and end
- 5 register thenew excel file.
I can't do the same with openoffice calc.Please tell me if there is a way to
register such a file under openoffice calc or not. If yes, tell me how.
